Haven't watched it.  Co-worker did.  It's not a reboot.  It's a sequel with Axel Foley still played by Eddie Murphy, following the original story line.  She said it was decent.

I watched it, wasn't bad.  If you liked the original, you will like this one. It has most of the original cast, but waaay older.  Murphy still looks pretty good though.

It was a fun ride. The father/daughter story was weak, but that isn't why we watch.  I rank it 3rd after the the original and II.  In my world, III never happened.
