Some levity in the house from this. They just showed a picture of the shooter lying on the roof where he was shot. My wife, who may or may not have some "pumphead*" from her two open heart surgeries mentioned, "That looks like head guts on his body and above his head". Henceforth I will only refer to brain matter as head guts!   :rofl:

As to the shooter's politics and being "registered Republican", I saw this on Fox News (bolding mine):

I was watching CNN last night with Wolf Blitzer and a panel of people when one of them started decrying the rhetoric coming out of the left, the cover of The Republic showing Trump Hitler, etc.

One of the other guests immediately started in with "Well Trump blah blah blah..."

First guy cut her off and anchored her ass with "WHO'S IN THE HOSPITAL RIGHT NOW?"

Yeah, Trump likes his rhetoric, but when the left, for months, equates him to Hitler and or Putin, cries about how this will be the very last election and if Biden doesn't win it will be a new dictatorship, destruction of democracy, blah blah blah what the *expletive deleted*ck did these aholes expect would happen?

The stupid fat *expletive deleted*ck who represents my district in Congress, Gerry Connolly, has been VERY quiet this whole time. He's usually out front banging the "TRUMP IS A MONSTER!" drum.

This November at our local history conference I'm suspecting I'm going to be getting an award for the work I did on the commission and for the conference over the last 20 years.

Connolly always awards them. If I do get an award, and he's presenting, I'm refusing it.

Seeing some attributing a last second turn of Trump head with saving his life and that if he's hadn't the bullet would have blow off the back of his head. Looking at the videos I'm on the fence on that. May do a closer examination of the video after I get coffee in me.
