I have a fig tree and it actually produces a good amount of fruit. Problem is the figs all ripen at once and have a shorter span than an avocado. It's a race between me and the squirrels to get to the harvest!
Got a whole bunch of figs today and rummaged around the kitchen.
Some butter, a thingy of cream cheese, couple drops of vanilla, a shake or two of sort of a generic Italian seasoning, the mother lode was the puff pastry in the freezer!!
Looks like it will be a nice fig tart for desert!
