I don't know about the rest of you guys, but to mark the occasion, I went out and danced nude around my tree.

It died.

We didn't need to know that.  Really.

Silly - you probably danced the wrong way around the tree.

You're supposed to dance clockwise to put things together / make things stronger, etc

You probably went around the tree counter-clockwise and undid all its life force.

I think I'll smoke some additive-free tobacco and thank mother earth for providing it.

I tried some of that stuff but wasn't impressed.  Very harsh and tasted like dirt.  Blech.  For my RYO setup I've settled on Farmer's Gold Light.  Ends up being about a buck a pack, including Premier Ultra-Light filtered tubes.  It's comparable, I think, to Marlboro Lights.  I find that I smoke less, too.  When going store-bought I was averaging a pack every two days.  Now its a pack (actually 18 as that's all that will fit in the holder) every three days.

Enjoy this longest day of global warming (in the northern hemisphere) for winter will be here soon enough and it will begin cooling once again.

About friggin time! I need to go to bed early because of my job, but it's light enough to read by until 9:30-10. I need some blackout curtains.

Read about the gathering at Stonehenge.  Was expecting to see a picture of Broken Paw in there. grin
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
