Damn thing's up.
« on: July 04, 2007, 10:16:30 PM »
There's quite a bit of editing to be done (was mostly concentrating on "how do I link this to that), and I'm still missing two "nice to have" pages, along with the "how do we get the money from point a to point me" bit, but the first web site is somewhat online.

www.posterprep.com is oriented toward folks who produce poster presentations in the scientific/R&D world.

www.printmondo.com, oriented toward the photo printing end of things, is on the way in a day or two.

Damn thing's up

You've been looking at Monkeyleg's sister-in-law, haven't you ...?   laugh
Freedom is a heavy load, a great and strange burden for the spirit to undertake. It is not easy. It is not a gift given, but a choice made, and the choice may be a hard one. The road goes upward toward the light; but the laden traveller may never reach the end of it.  - Ursula Le Guin

Bogie, I get a "site not found" error message when I click on both of your links.

Hi, Bogie. I'm on a Mac.

Did you just recently get the domain servers to point to your IP's? It takes a few days for the domain names to migrate to the IP's.

Meanwhile, if you could just post the IP's, I'd like to look at what you've done.

I like that it's simple, not overly graphical, and easy to read.  I also like the no-bulls*** attitude conveyed.

Your strengths are your weaknesses.  It's simple - which some people may interpret as amateur.

Overall I like it.  Give me some time to reflect on it, and I'll post again.

PS.  The image in technology is pixelated.  You may want a better image.

The IP? Right now the thing's on godaddy...

Adding in some better pictures, templates, etc., etc., as time goes.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out this search engine thing.

Jen woke up early, got ambitious, and decided to mow the yard this morning (and she didn't do the bedroom side until last, so I wasn't able to stop her - what part of "take it easy, dammit" doesn't she understand...), so I figure the whole day's gonna be shot...

And now it's down...

Jen wants it down until the state sends us something. I'm gonna paper my downstairs bathroom with bureaucratic impedimentia.
