Nobody claims it would. The idea is to stop bullying the non-threats, while still slaughtering the
actual threats. In the recent debate, McCain distinguished Vietnam and Iraq by
completely repudiating the domino theory, and admitting that Vietnam was
never a real threat in the first place. Ironic.
If you want peace, prepare for war.
That's not your actual stance. Your stance is, "If you want peace,
wage war." You
do realize that what's happening in Iraq is not "preparation," right?
