Lots of rope to make your raft for floating down the Mississippi to warmer climates, and to locate local warlords who'll take you on as a mercenary/assassin for hire...

Yes... that's still Gunkid.
I promise not to duck.

Is Jeremiah a typo for Jericho?

No...

Jeremiah is a 2 or 3 season series. The backdrop is a military developed, contact spread, virus that kills everyone puberty age (11 to 12) and older. All the cities and infrastructure has gone to complete rot because kids didn't know how to maintain any of it. All world gov'ts had completely collapsed into local bully fiefdoms. For about 10years the kids pretty much lived on canned food scavenged throughout the burning cities. Many infants died as orphans and under the care of siblings. All fuel and batteries are gone.

Jeremiah picks up approximately 15years later. Its really the story about rebuilding technology, society, and order. There's more to it than that, but I don't want to ruin the joy of discovery.
I’m not saying I invented the turtleneck. But I was the first person to realize its potential as a tactical garment. The tactical turtleneck! The… tactleneck!
