McCain Campaign Ad

This McCain ad was linked on Drudge.
It seems to me that this is the basic stuff McCain needs to be hitting on.  He just needs to be able to back it up when the debates come around.

Since I live in Illinois (Where Obama has already won in landslide), I don't get to see any of the national campaign ads  (I guess that's good also), other then the local races.

For McCain to have any chance, he needs to hammer the issues and hammer them hard.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

On the radio Friday morning they said that Paris Hilton's parents were pissed.  Apparently they are big Republican contributors and didn't like her being used in the ad the way she was.  Personally, I like the ad, and think it makes a good comparison.

Paris Hilton's parents would appear to have a blindspot when it comes to child-rearing.  Maybe other "Republicans" do too...

The following is a transcript of Paris Hilton's energy plan, from her spoof campaign ad.  She's supposed to be making fun of McCain, but she OWNS Obama, by having an energy plan at least five times more sensible.

Quote
Why don`t we do a hybrid of both candidates` ideas? We can do limited offshore drilling with strict environmental oversight while creating tax incentives to get Detroit making hybrid and electric cars. That way, the offshore drilling carries us until the new technologies kick in, which will then create new jobs and energy independence. Energy crisis solved.

BARRY!!  How long can you keep this up, bro?  Paris Planking Hilton sounds more presidential than you do.

Good grief.
Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God?

A potted plant sounds more presidential.
