I hated his commercials.  If he kept his nose clean and ends up with all those angels, his Oxyclean will make him a big hit.  They all wear white up there....chris

Discovery Channel and "Sully" Sullivan put out a great statement about Billy.

Am I the only person who has no idea who David Carradine is?

Preliminary autopsy report points to undiagnosed heart disease as the cause of death.

Let that be a lesson to all you aging farts. At least get a stress test once in a while. Saved my ass, so far anyways, might have saved Billy's.

Although I don't have the statistics right to hand, there is an astonishing number of people for whom the first sign of heart disease is death.  They had not been diagnosed prior to falling over dead from a heart attack or ventricular fibrillation.  It does make you think.

I am not yet an old fart, but a bad case of indigestion caused my wife to insist I go to the doc.  EKGs, and a stress test later, the cardiologist said, "Nothing to see here.  If you had a bad heart, what you just did would have killed you."

But, here's a hint, do NOT arrive after a workout, still sweating (despite a shower), and with and elevated heart rate.  Those medical types jump to the worst case conclusion right quick...

And worse, this is the one time you can't find a doctor who treats the symptom and ignores the root cause.

I'm sure he was a nice guy, but I hated his commercials.
I would try to keep the tv quiet for sleeping roomies when
I was on a night schedule, his commercials would come on and all of a sudden...

I heard him on a radio show, he was actually pretty funny, he seemed to be going a mile a minute.  In the very least he was successful at what he did, what other TV salesman can you name off the top of your head?
