Usually in the summer months I'm still wearing long sleeves on hikes. I have a couple ExOfficio Air Strip Light shirts (I only them on clearance for half the price) and REI Sahara shirts. The sleeves roll up if needed but if the bugs are bad I keep them down. For pants I use The North Face Paramount convertible pants or REI Sahara pants.
This kind of clothing can all be found on clearance at one time or another. Columbia, Cabelas, REI etc... all make cloths of this nature.
I have one set that I treat with Sawyers Permithrin insect repellent for my summer hiking. That stuff works great IMHO.
There have been days where I've worn my digital camo surplus t shirt while out hiking and I've backpacked with my digital camo boonie hat. I'm not tactical but practical. I guess I will only be local support staff for the operators when the SHTF/TEOTWAWKI occurs :D

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
