True.  However, there's a reason the 5-2-1 posters ("You will have a minimum of: 5 hours sleep; 2 meals; 1 shower; in every 24 hour period") prominently around the gaming floor at DragonCon - and nowhere else.

I will certainly grant that the Right-Guard Girl was doing banner business spraying people on the main con floor...

No, she had an actual can of Right-Guard.

She got a helper at least one of the days, IIRC.

I did 2 minutes on google looking for such an awesome product, all I found was something fictional in Halo.  But, it ought to be doable, maybe something with similar properties to triple expanding spray foam insulation :)

I read the first part of that and thought, "That would be awesome!" and then scrolled down and saw the rest.

Yes, yes, it would.

We'd just need polyisobutyl-methacrylate (resin "framework"), sorbitan trioleate (stickiness), dibutyl phthalate (plastizer), dichloromethane (solvent) and propellant.

Uhm.  Problem is, inside the can, it's a liquid because it's under pressure.  It polymerizes because it moves to a low pressure environment and the propellant evaporates.  Gets interesting when you put compressed and powdered pentaerythritol tetranitrate in a liquid.  Especially when you toss in solvents to keep everything liquid and single phase.   You'd need to use an explosive that not effected by the solvent.  Good luck with that.  It's possible (I think), but...   Eh, you'd need a team of chemical engineers to figure out the right combo.

I wish that was one of my backgrounds.  :'(

BTW isn't dibutyl phthalate itself a solvent? *checks* Nope, never mind, I was thinking of diethyl phthalate.

Someone call me when this stuff gets invented, I wanna see what it'd do to a common oak door if you sprayed a ring of it on and stuck in a RC detcap.

Well...  The pressure alone shouldn't be a problem...  But explosives are generally more dangerous when they are under high pressure.  Sudden depressuration shouldn't make it go boom.  *I* still wouldn't be playing with it.

Toss the can into a fire while under pressure, things might get interesting.

You're confusing anime watchers with gamers.
Final Fantasy is a video game, and is loved by mostly "ordinary people."
Personally, I never got into the games.  Pretty boring imo.

Not really, have you seen the latest batch of FF characters?

If those aren't inspired by anime, I dunno what is.

Well, the 'anime' style is just the way things are drawn over there.  It's like how western comic books make the standard for most everything drawn over here.
Yes, the characters look like they were drawn anime style, but in actually, that's just the way it is.
The gaming communities and anime communities and even the manga communities are all very different from each other.

It's probably better that way.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.
