I sure wish that I had known.  I could have saved a lot of time and money on buying (or killing) food, maintaining a kitchen and paying utilities, and preparing meals (and/or getting a wife to prepare them for us).

This points to a larger problem that a great many people succumb to: Never having figured out a system to determine whether a particular claim/belief is true or false.
