I have to agree with one of the comments: If we actually adopted this stupid word salad language, talking and reading would be simply exhausting.
I think it is designed to make language (spoken or written) more difficult, and really just frightening. And when it's hard to speak or write, it's hard to think.
Just yesterday, I had a male customer trying to look feminine, with eye shadow and some kind of tube top or sports bra under his unbuttoned maintenance uniform shirt. You just don't want to talk to someone like that, because you'll inevitably use some sex-specific word, and that might give him an excuse to use legal action against you, or just complain to your boss, or whatever.
If we go back to the beginning of left-wing speech and thought control, it goes back at least as far as minority-advocacy groups trying to change ethnonyms from "negro" or "colored" to "African-American." Or from "Hispanic" to "Mexican-American," or whatever the case may be. Part of the dynamic, not often discussed, is to establish that they (the Left) is in charge of the language, and you're accountable to them.
