Ah!  That is why those scenes look so familiar.

The best kept secret in that park is Lake Elizabeth.  If any of you get to the park, go there.  It is a 12 mile walk in, keeping most people out, but it has absolutely plentiful big grayling and rainbow trout.  Some of the best fishing I have ever done.

Well - a few pics to give a flavor of ''Indian Caverns PA'' - there is much evidence of their use by Indians a long ways back, tho now more has been opened up to view.

To get really good pics would require studio lighting - here we have direct flash which actually is crap for useful lighting!  These pics tho do show some of the fascinating formations, made of course over many 1,000's of years.  The last pic shows a formation that understandably has been christened ''Madonna".

Riley - you have some beautiful coastline available - makes me think back to all the great beaches I used to know in SW UK - one of which had some remarkeable geo formations.  maybe if I can find a pic I'll post it outa interest.

Good subject Ray - one of my favorites.  Superb creatures but hard to get good pics unless they do as this one - settle and stay put a while!!  Nice.

Hey Ray - you know my proclivity for meddling? - Well thought the butterfly needed to show its colors a bit more so tweaked a bit to enjoy more of the full color - or at least an approximation!

This is looking down on an almost 2000' climb I had just ascended.  Nothing like wanting to just drive your bike off the side of the hill and die....Its about a 7% gradient.  At least the downhill is a riot!

Fudgie - you will need to have pics hosted - your own server or maybe just somewhere like photobucket.com.  Then you place the hotlink within ''img'' tags.

You need a photo host.  Alot of us are using www.Photobucket.com
Once you've got some pics uploaded, copy the BB code and paste it in here to post pics.

I like your guess, Jamis, but a bit over 16".  Caught that last night, and two more this morning the same size.  Never caught that many that size in such a short period of time before.  Plus a nice 10-12" rainbow that took the liberty of releasing itself as I was maneuvering it into the creel, and a couple of 8-10" Brownies.

#4 Rainbow Trout Panther Martin was the lure of the trip.

Still a nice fish.
Did you see this one, from page one?

Caught in about 1' of water on a pink scud.  About 18"

That fish has some good girth on it.  That is getting more to the size that you catch trolling on the Great Lakes, like a lake raised fish, than a stream raised fish.

Ok I will have some good pyro pics once I edit them.
I just got to work the concert in the sky at the Amelia Earhart annual festival in Atchinson,KS
What a show!! It's the largest fireworks show in the state of KS.  But first here is a nice sunrise I caught heading to the site.

Ok as promised.. here are some pyro pics from the Amelia Earhart festival.
I wish I could have taken much more.. but my camera has a slow rate and it was tough to get more than a few shots. That and I wanted to just take in the show I slaved for a week to set up. I have more video clips than anything I'll have to find a place to host them then I'll post some of those clips too.  God there really is nothing like 10 and 12" shells shooting off just yards from you Smiley   And the finale box that was just 5 feet from me (one of 6) was the most intense experience of my life.. 600 3" shots went off in just under 5 seconds.  It was like standing next to a minigun on steroids railing off...words can not describe the immense pleasure that gave me Cheesy  Unfortunately my memory card was full just before the finale started.. otherwise I would have had that on video Sad
Here goes.. I hope you don't mind the quanity

My favorite

And finally a few shots of the airshow that went over our heads.. the guy afterthis was much better and flew within 500 feet of us. Too bad I didn't have my camera at that moment
