I think she'd know I was kidding.

I did explain my "balance" theory, though, which I doubt is unique to me.

When we were younger, good looking (at least she was), and having sex often, all of those things outweighed any negatives. As we age, that side of the balance scale becomes emptier, and so the negatives become more pronounced. When there's something else to fill the "young" pan of the balance scale, things are ok. If it's not being filled, that's a problem.
