We have had storms moving through each night for the last several nights. Really helping to moderate the temperature. Thursday afternoon was some of the hardest rain I have seen anywhere. First time ever my cell phone lit up with flash flood warnings. I go shooting down in the arroyos on occasion so that's handy. Anyway, stay cool, y'all!

No storms here. The last weather other then just hot was the night after that insane storm, and that was just wind, lightning and thunder too.
We need rain. I'm hoping anything that comes through tonight dumps water on us.
I almost had a heart attack last night, when I saw and heard some folks across the road lighting up fireworks. At first it was "hey, cool, I'm betting those suckers are illigal and I can see sparkles through the trees." Then it was "OH *expletive deleted*it! Heavily forested area, dry and hot weather and those people are setting off FIREworks!!" 
I told dad if he smelled woodsmoke, wake me up so we could run if we had too.

It was a hundred today in Charleston and I was comfortable. I think I've acclimated. Hydration is the key!

Cooler, still humid. I finished the farm chores early, splashed a lot of water around for the dogs and hosed down the alpaca.
It's a sad day when I think 85 plus humidity is cool, but after the past week + I am a happy camper.

I saw Brave in a beautifully restored 1950's chrome and a red velvet theater, that served excellent local and regional microbrews along with popcorn and whatnot.
