Only reason I have .3030 on my list and not the .357 is price difference. .357's are double or more and hard to come by, but every chain sells the Marlin in .3030 for under $350 every holiday on sale.
Yeah, except I never see new ones that cheap anymore (~$450) and the new Marlingtons are mostly junk.
Still, you can buy a lot of 30-30 ammo for about $400
Now, if Ruger would just make a Blackhawk in 30-30
