Way too technical. Biggest drawback is it needs an on-site expert to define the terms across the top.
Right now the issues seems to be:
- the difference between an assault rifle and an "assault weapon"
- the difference between automatic and semi-automatic (how about if we start calling semis "self-reloading"?)
- "high-capacity magazines"
- the difference between an AK and an AK varient (sort of the difference between assault rifle and "assault weapon" but needs its own mention)
- calling .223/5.56 a "high-powered" caliber
- anything with an optic being called a "sniper rifle"
We are, however, making some progress. It's been a few months since I've read about the "Glock semi-automatic [duty] revolver".
stay safe.
