Hillary in a free fall?

I'm all but certain that, no matter what charges the FBI comes up with for Hillary, nothing will happen to her. The AG won't press charges, and she'll just skate.

But what if justice is actually served? What if she's brought up on charges? What do the Dem's do? Does Obama say that he'll remain in office for two more years so a real campaign can be established? Do they just run Joe, knowing he'll be clobbered?

I read in some article that AG Lynch more than likely would indict if the FBI recommended it. It was something about one of her past colleagues saying if she get the green light on something, she goes after it. The person also felt that she would do it because if the FBI found sufficient evidence to green light it, that no one should get a free pass.

Could be worse.  I have a Bernie campaign storefront propaganda distribution center less than a mile from my front door.  It's just a few doors down from my Home Depot.  Gotta drive right by it.  Guess I'll be going to Lowes more often for a while.

Haven't seen any "H->" stickers, but quite a few "Bernie" stickers.  Mostly on Pruii and Subarus that have the wrong* "CoExist" bumper stickers on them also.


Also have seen a few "We Are Not Afraid, Refugees Welcome" yard sign.   But this is Wheaton, and Wheaton College does have quite a few Leftie-Christians teaching/working there.



*- Wrong in that they have the religious emblems instead of the Gunmaker emblems.

Being a Leftie-Christian is Okay with WC, just as long as you still adhere to their statement of principles (which does not have a political thread in them), going over to the non-Christian side, will get you tossed out on your ear.

However, the Refugee yard signs have been spotted in yards that I know belong to some of the members of the Univerisalist-Unitarian church, and those are the real granola-eating, macrame-weaving, long-haired hippie freaks.

One of my Hispanical neighbors has a "Justice For Illegals" yard sign. I'm always tempted to knock on the door, and ask what I can do to help him get folks deported.

That's not really worth much. This situation is a bit unprecedented, and I don't think there is any way to know which way Lynch will jump if the FBI recommends indictment and Obama tells her to let it slide.

My guess is she will do whatever Obama tells her to do, but that's just a guess.

Well, he certainly wouldn't want to watch her do a "better"* job than he did, and I think she actually could.

For some odd reason, even those in her fan base who are no longer supporting her because of her mistakes don't actively hate her and Obama is going to go down as one of the most hated presidents in history. I don't think Hilary would.

Maybe. Then again, Obama may decide that it would cause too much chaos during the Democratic primaries.

And the cynic in me wants to point out that high-level politicians have a tendency to protect each other, even if they hate each others' guts. They realize that prosecuting one of them puts a target on all of their backs, so they try to avoid it if at all possible. There's a reason we have so few impeachments, and why our political class is as slimy as it is.
