I'm seeing reports that the next season of The Last of Us won't be coming out until 2025.

That sucks.

And, the CDC is reporting that fungal infection deaths caused by candida auris have tripled in the last 3 years.

I'll probably end up not watching it. I have given up on all kinds of shows that in recent years have been 2, 3,or even more years between seasons. I just completely lose interest. Maybe in another five or so years I'll watch some of those when I can watch the seasons one after the other on streaming.

I'll have to admit that that has not happened to me yet. If a show really grabs my attention in the first (or whatever) season and they don't come out with a new "season" for an unusually long time, I'm still going to watch it.

But if I lose interest in a show mid season and stop watching (The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, a couple of others?) I'm never going to go back to it.
