SO MANY people are saying that the CNN moderators are going to be biased I wonder if maybe - just maybe - they'll actually take a stab at being impartial?. . .
I usually don't quote myself, but to give credit where credit was due, I think the CNN moderators actually behaved like serious journalists.
Trump could have been a little more succinct - I think he rushed to cram too many thoughts into each segment when he had the mic - but still looked good compared to his opponent. (Notice how Trump referred to Joe as "Brandon" once and as a "Manchurian Candidate?"
)
Dems and all their media cheerleaders looked poised to use this as the start of a movement to oust Biden - it's as if their reaction was rehearsed and coordinated. (Newsome? Will Kamala put up with that, and be second fiddle again? Or has she already been paid off to step aside?)
And of course some are saying the moderators should have "fact checked" Trumps alleged "lies." (They'd accuse him of lying if he announced his last name was Trump.)
And from the performance on stage - I really don't think these two guys like each other very much.
