Report from Mrgunsngear on a credit union in Idaho who sent out a terms of service notice listing (among other things) guns and ammo as items customers were prohibited from buying with that credit union's credit card.
https://youtu.be/__oxIcqbI1EWhat kind of a moron business would do that in a state like Idaho of all places? They have since changed their TOS to "illegal items". That's after a *expletive deleted*it ton of customers rushed to the bank after the story broke and canceled their accounts.
This seems especially stupid since, and I don't remember the exact language, but we recently passed a state law that expressly prohibited any financial institutions from tracking or otherwise interfering in legal activities, specifically because of that whole credit card industry "guns and ammo" purchasing tracking thing that seemed to have backfired on them as well.
