While I still vehemently don't want US people or military power over there dealing with this, I find myself losing what small amount of *expletive deleted*s I may have given about how Israel chooses to solve it.

Videos like I have seen today of the citizenship of Gaza reveling in the bodies of hostages make me remember that the Carthaginians haven't been much trouble lately.

I'm shocked that the cease fire has lasted as long as it has, really.

And when Hamas breaks the ceasefire, because they will, I truly won't care if Israel kills every Palestinian in Israel. That way Israel won't have to keep doing this bullshit with Hamas/the Palestinians every couple of years when the jabbering dishtowels think they've actually got some sort of military advantage and decided to launch the latest round of FAFO.

What truly disgusts me about this latest round, though, is how badly Israel let their guard down and how badly they paid for it.

Yeah, I don't want us kinetically involved there, but I'm certainly ready to let Israel do whatever they need to do. They don't have clean hands, but their hands are exponentially cleaner than those of pretty much every Palestinian's in Gaza. Or other countries in the ME can step in and take care of their problem children.

The mother's body was not the right one.

The 3 bombs that went off with no injuries, had the timers set to PM. The ones that they found after that were set to go off [n the morning.

I think we are close to a full on war over there.

They've refused to allow Palestinian refugees into their own countries because they: 1. Know how destabilizing PLO and Hamas are, and 2. Love the fact that every time Israel kills a Palestinian they give the Muslim nations another "Sacred Martyr to Jihad!", and that has amazing value inside their own countries with their own people.

I remember reading stories after the six-day war about how Israel had a heavily armed civilian population - back then, they were being compared to Switzerland. I personally would have had a 5th plane in the fly over. About 20 seconds after the 4 plane fly over a 5th, lower and faster (on the edge of mach) would have screamed over. By the time they saw it or heard it it would have been gone.  >:D

Say at about Mach .95, couple hundred feet off the deck and rattle every window for miles. *That* would have gotten their attention in a need new underwear kinda way.
