Maybe that will make Trump repent of his "Take the guns first, go through due process second" philosophy.
I also doubt it.  His guns are just toys and status symbols.

Nah.

He won't be "convicted" until the judge enters a judgement at sentencing. However that is, at best, a formality at this point unless an appeals court orders a stay pending emergency appeal.

So, short of a stay, by July 11 he will have gone through due process.  That is was a patently unfair process is another matter, but really one for appeals courts to address, not the (unconstitutional) NYPD gun permitting authority.

This is getting to be one ginormous banana. They're making the Central African Republic look like pikers.
Well, what about the plethora of charges being filed by persons OTHER than Democrats or Democrat appointees?

Oh, wait . . .
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

Trump is legally a Florida resident. Can a non-resident have a New York state carry permit, let alone one in New York City?  (NYC generally does NOT recognize NY state carry permits.)

For enough money, sure.

Judge revokes Steve Bannon's bail

Quote
A federal judge in Washington, D.C. has ordered Steve Bannon, longtime ally of former President Trump, to report to prison on July 1.

Judge Carl Nichols' decision revokes Bannon's bail. Bannon lost an appeal of his contempt of Congress conviction in May. Bannon was sentenced to four months in prison for ignoring a Congressional subpoena to testify regarding the January 6 capitol riot.
Quote
Bannon was first sentenced in October 2022. The sentence also included a $6,500 fine. DOJ prosecutors in the case had sought a 6-month sentence and a $200,000 fine.

BREAKING: Judge Merchan has notified all parties in the New York case of a Facebook post made a day before Trump's conviction by someone who may have known one of the jurors. New York law requires the verdict nullified and NEW TRIAL held

"My cousin is a juror and Trump is getting convicted"

This is absolutely insane. It could still have been a random person but I doubt it if Merchan is alerting the parties

They will either decide it a BS post, and no action is needed, or they'll rule it doesn't matter, and no further action is needed.

Now Fani is upset that people are pronouncing her name like the common female name "Fanny." She insists they're doing it deliberately. Which is funny, because she obviously has had to tell people the "right" way to pronounce it since she was in grade school.

Pretty sure it's the parent(s) fault for naming her Fawny, but spelling it Fani. They must be related to Chief Justice Taney.

Maybe someone should point out it was her parents that pronounced it wrong all those years, see she how she likes that.
Maybe instead of expecting people to be mind readers and throwing a fit every time someone pronounces her name the way it's spelled instead of the way she wants it pronounced maybe she should legally change her name to that spelling. Either that or get over it and STFU.

Judge Merchan blinks. Can't imagine why.

https://currently.att.yahoo.com/news/manhattan-da-says-wouldnt-oppose-151100708.html

TL:DR version... Shortly, like only a couple hours, after the SCOTUS immunity verdict, Trumps team files motion to dismiss under the guise of "key pieces of prosecution's supporting evidence now fall under Presidential Immunity". Merchan, suddenly developing an apparent sense of jurisprudence, postpones sentencing so both sides can submit briefs related to the dismissal request. Ruling scheduled for Sept 06.

The cynic in me presumes Sept 06 has some type of Trump-detrimental scheduling significance. Judge has pretty much handled everything else that way. Why stop now?

Jack Smith is going to appeal the dismissal of classified documents case.

Not sure what he thinks he's going to gain in the face of the recent Supreme Court ruling.

He should be used to being denied/overturned. Apparently he's got a really shitty track record.
